Corporate Partner of the Year

The Naval Postgraduate School Foundation announced Qualcomm Technologies as its 2024 Corporate Partner of the Year during the 19th Annual America’s Heroes Charity Golf Tournament Dinner on June 10. The award recognizes Qualcomm Technologies’ strategic collaboration with the Naval Postgraduate School to drive forward research and innovation leveraging next generation wireless technologies to address critical defense challenges.

Qualcomm Technologies is the first corporate partner of the NPS Foundation to pledge their support for the Naval Innovation Center at NPS. Their commitment will enable the evaluation and application of commercial technologies, resources and expertise to address the DOD’s operational challenges in the future facility.

About the Award

The Corporate Partner of the Year award recognizes a corporate partner that demonstrates continued innovation and support of education, research, and applied solutions that emerge from the Naval Postgraduate School and drive world-changing advancements for defense, industry, technology, climate and more — right now and into the future. The award, which was established in 2021, is presented annually during the NPS Foundation’s America’s Heroes Charity Golf Tournament in Monterey, California.

Committing to Innovation

2024 is set to be a critical year for the Naval Postgraduate School, the NPS Foundation and the Naval Innovation Center at NPS. Engagements with strategic corporate partners - both current and new - remain focused on two key priorities: outfitting the the future NIC at NPS and supporting interdisciplinary, classified and applied work that meets the specific needs of the DOD and the Department of the Navy and deliver results for our service members and our allies.
